Eleven years ago, my mother sadly died. She left me a dilapidated barn. Today, after ten years of Applications, negotiations, modifications, five bat surveys, three structural surveys, endless delays and monumental costs, I finally got Planning Permission to turn a Grade II listed wreck of a barn into a nice house.
