He won’t remember a thing, even when shown the photos- Young Adult#2 will attest to that :frowning:

Fun for the adults though :+1:

Breakfast bar is open San mig is availble but hotel wifi shit

Whereabouts are you at the moment? (and don’t say ā€œin the hotel breakfast bar.ā€ :unamused::smile:)

In the Anda China hotel Malabo Equatorial Guinea on my way to Addis Ethiopia then on to Singapore and eventually Manila arriving 11pm local time Friday

On bus #1 of 2.
Have to hike an hour across town.
Dune 2 is dubbed into Polish so finding a screening in English has been a nightmare
11:10 cinema screening :scream:

I was working in France when Dances With Wolves was released, my French wasn’t that good at the start so i was pleased when i found a Version Original i.e. not dubbed.

Only trouble was, when the Native Americans spoke in their tongue it had French subtitles.

My reading of French was worse than my spoken.

Not a problem really…all they said was, ā€œWhite man speak with forked-tongueā€ …and promptly cut it out with a large knife. HTH.

26 years in Dubai with mandatory Arabic sub titles teaches you that

I will manage. Bit early for Popcorn though…

Bus #2 is an Electric Bendy Bus.
Makes very un-bus like noises…

Couldn’t you be a bit more specific? :unamused::smile::smile:

The lobby waiting for the driver to transport me by minibus to the international airport.

Ā£5.80 for a cinema ticket

MiL’s TV is broken. Its a good 15 years old.
No budget for a new one.
She needs a headset when listening.
We have an 8 year old LG in storage it works but nonheadset.
Mrs P_F gets it working with help from Brother in law.
Today not working.

I say have you checked the input channel about 5 times and am told im an idiot etc.

I say give me the TV remote about 10 times finally using the Dune Voice.
I press menu, input, USB and it works.
20 minutes wasted.

But a wonderful win…

So, I live about 2.5 miles from J10 of the M25 - and this part of the ā€œimprovementā€ work going on. Deforestation on a massive scale.

We live up high and can see the valley where the M25 ā€œnestlesā€ so get to hear the traffic noise.

You get used to the traffic noise in the background, but you don’t realise how pervasive it is until it’s gone.

Got woken up by birdsong today ( took me back to lockdown when even the planes from Heathrow stopped.)

Seems we’re going to get 5 weekends of closures this year - Good times :+1:

Edit: Picture not taken from a Canberra but a bloke in a glider.
