Just tried smoking saddle of venison

Cooked it perfectly- just not sure venison and smoke work - tasted a bit weird

Fags are better imho

Stumbled across this picture of me and my mate in Milton Road before the jubilee match with Tottenham Hotspur in November 1935. :lou_lol:

Well, I’m surprised. I never expected to witness homophobia at Slowlane Towers. :flushed::flushed:

When I cleared M&D CS’ house at the end of 2020 I brought back a desk fan and a large free standing fan to the great annoyance of Mrs C_S who said “when will we ever use those?”

She’s been up in Madchester with her mum this weekend and just suggested I might want to dig them out “just in case it gets warm next week”

Gleefully pointed out they’ve been on full throttle since Saturday.

The temperature is such that walking past one of those Dyson thingys and all of a sudden £400+ doesn’t seem so outrageous

Trouble is, with any fan, they just push around hot air, it’s not like they actually cool it down…

Me and both cats will disagree with you on that point

They do cool you down though.

I hate to admit it, but that was my first thought as well :joy::joy::joy::joy:

They don’t, your amazing body does…

I thought it was the speeded up evaporation of sweat on the skin having a cooling effect on the body.
