Itâs pleasant enough once youâre across the roundabout towards Beaulieu. I had a little snigger imagining Tigger taking that pack of muddy hounds into the Heath House lounge for a swift livener after her walk

The standards at The Heath arenât (werenât) too high tbf, not since it went all Whitbread pre-packaged microwave / cook by numbers food orientated.
Used to be a cracking night out when it was a proper boozer. Just a bit too far out to trek to if on a pub crawl though.
The last time I was in there 2 or 3 years ago they had suddenly developed pretensions of grandeur. It was all kitted out upmarket bistro-style.
