😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

Could have a ā€œmoan about kidsā€ thread. Or if you want I could post up all the tips I provide parents so they don’t think their kids are a pain.

Mine brings me more joy than pain.

Overall they do yes, they do so much to make me laugh. They just have the knack of getting at you. But the good things would take this off topic and be so unlike this forum!

Here is another. Letting drivers out of a road or to turn in front of you, but they are just not taking any notice at all. I often wonder why I bother!

They are little and they are annoyances

Having to catch more than 1 plane to get back to England. And the fact it takes at least a whole day which I will never get back. Each way. And if I come back in the football season it’s so fucking cold. And dark. And wet. Although it’s pretty much wet whatever time of year I come back. And cold. I hate the cold, especially when it’s damp (I didn’t want to say wet again). There are some positives but I didn’t want to ruin the thread.

Its bloody expensive too!

Back pain

My spine needs a good click, but it just doesn’t want to do it whatever shape I contort myself into.

Go to a good ciropractor. I had lower back pain for 30+ years, all sorts of physio and finally went for my first ciro session last year. Cured in 1 session.

When you are in (another) virtual queue, and for no apparent reason you go from #327 to #5370.

Complete bullshit.

I have spent thousands on various 'paths over the years. It always seems to be ok for a few months and then it returns - I have pretty much isolated it to tight hamstrings - problem is, when its not hurting, I forget to do the stretching exercises.

Acquiring several Radiohead tickets but having nobody to go with.

i’m surprised they even sell radiohead tickets in qtys more than single. Is there really a market for that?

Yoga is your friend CB Saint.

Hamstrings can’t hide from an all over stretch once a week - especially as, in my experience, tight hamstrings are often a by-product of the problem and not the source of the problem itself.

Plus, you get to let unbelievably flexible and sweaty, lycra-clad women look at your tubby body (I don’t reciprocate) as you mutually contort yourselves into lycra-stretching asanas.

It’s almost a public service.

People who feel the need to wear their office ID around town.

It’s not about security, you’ve worked there for thirty fucking years, everyone knows who you are, it’s about control!

The company owns you, go on, put on your little badge, but for god’s sake have some self respect and take it off when you go out for lunch!
