My mates opinion came from 5 years on a Nimitz class nuclear aircraft carrier. Some shore leave he stayed onboard as he was ashamed to mix with their overwhelming sense of entitlement. Bit like Spurs and Liverpool supporters.

Made friends with lovely barmaids in San Francisco, Kansas and, especially, in Cleveland. Apart from the odd cuntish driver (no different to here) I got on with everyone over there.
