😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

I thought they weren’t releasing any more versions after 10. Didn’t they say Windows 10 would just be given continuing updates?

You’re supposed to get all masterful and macho. Put your foot down and keep her in line, like you do with the staff.

I hear Johnson has put 75 army drivers on alert - which will then take 5 days training if required to make the useful.

So that’s really gonna help….

It’s not supposed to help, it’s just supposed to show that he’s doing something.

Spot on - this is resolving itself as the fuckwitts who caused the issue haven’t got anywhere else to put fuel

Something woefully ineffective and too late thoughšŸ¤”

Well that’s all very well but I’m not allowed to do that. I was going to get Chambers to come and collect us in the Tesla but he says he can’t as there’s also been panic buying of Duracell AA batteries. :anguished:

I’m not sure what else could be done (or should be) to fix an ultra short term supply issue that has been created out of media hype

We have had no issues getting fuel at the start of last week - the reason you can’t get fuel now is that fuel sales are up 500% - no supply chain can survive that.

There are lorry driver shortages but not really in the tanker sector and mainly at BP

This is on the table because the likes of BP are facing a hook up in costs that they are trying to wriggle out of. They want their cheap EU Labour back and the reason why the leak happened was to put pressure on the govt to include HGV drivers on the visas exemption list

Oh come on - use the helicopter- no shortage of Avgas

150 on the news this morning, and I’m sure the likes of the Logistics corps have petrol tankers to deliver fuel and the such like, so wouldn’t really need training…

It was 75 with 75 in reserve yesterday.

Apparently all need training.

Going back to @CB-Saint’s last post

Exactly- ā€œsending in the troopsā€ is a a knee jerk reaction by the Govt to make it look like they’re in control, when we know supplies will improve now the fucknuts have emptied the petrol stations and filled their cars.

Johnson & co need to be spending time sorting out why we have supply chain issues (not just for petrol) & the media need to be looking long and hard at how their reporting has been central to the whole - imho of course.
