😠 The Little Annoyances Of Everyday Life (Part 1)

Yep that. My typos are getting a bit boring now.

We hade the same problem with an antique pine chest of draws that was bought for our bedroom. We too couldnt get it up the stairs. It now has pride of place in the lounge!

Apparently a triple wardrobe wasn’t suitable in the large hall way or dining room.

I bought a new fridge a few months back and had to take the door off to get it through the kitchen door.

The only good thing about that was I know that the local crims are not going to steal it.

Good news is WHO have backtracked after listening to the concerns of donor countries Read that as them realising they’ll lose a shed load of funding if they don’t backtrack

I mean, how could anyone in their right mind would consider Mugabe as a suitable choice??

Again not an everyday occurence…but I completely tooled up something. A silly error but having checked and made sure I tried not to do what I did, I did it. Feeling utterly stupid.

That confirms that Lovren is still posting on here!

Where can you buy a car foot-pump with a pressure gauge that gives a proper reading.

Check my car’s tyre pressure at regular intevals and now all of a sudden the “tyre pressure warning sensor” lights up telling me all 4 tyres are 6psi too low.

Fuckin exhausted after pumping all 4 tyres up again.

I know…1st World problem. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

Fkn foot pump! Buy a fkn compressor grandad.

My bird rung me the other night.

Bird: How do I put air in a tyre?

Bear: What?

Bird: I’m at the petrol garage. It wants a number.

Bear: What do you mean, psi or bar?

Bird: …

Bear: Forget it. It’ll be psi. Just shove like 32 in. It’ll be alright.

Bird: Then how long have I got to put the cap back on?

Bear: What?

Bird: The little plastic cap. Before the air comes back out?

Bear: *hangs up*

Maybe time to look further afield than the other end of your Burger Counter for your conquests Bear? :lou_eyes_to_sky:

People who do that stupid bunny ears sign when they say “…and I quote”

Just fuck off out of my life

I was on a work “committee” one time in the early '90s and everyone knew everyone where I worked…we all been there for 30 years. The “Safety at Work” guy was known to all of us and he gave us a talk and made the mistake of doing the “bunny ears”. The “committe” looked at each other and burst out laughing…“WTF are you doing Gerry?”

He never did it again.

When you realise too late in the day you had pre-sale for something you really really want to see and have booked a home visit for when the tickets go on general sale.

Upvoted out of sympathy - but sort your priorities @intiniki . The family will still be there but the film/gig/event won’t …

True, annoyingly I had t o ove the visit from tomorrow to Friday when tickets are on sale. I think I may have worked it out or will get my partner to try to get them. Fingers crossed all round.

Not getting Flight of the Conchords tickets. The bots and secondary ticketing sites beat me. Again.

I went to buy some on the pre sale yesterday but was so outraged by the shit seat/ high price/ admin fee that I fucked it off. Block 11, row z off the genting arena for ÂŁ45. Pisd off!

They added a few extra dates so I now have tickets! Prices are a bit high.

Notice how, having felt your pain @fatso , @intiniki booked her tickets and THEN came back on here to tell you there were extra dates?

Letting your prat of a mate book tickets for The Streets in the pre-sale, only for them to make multiple bookings on the same card, meaning your tickets get cancelled and you get informed of this after the general sale.

FFS.
