This article is a bit sensationalist and doesn’t accurately reflect the real changes impacting on access to NHS GP services
If you are lucky enough to get company paid benefits like group income protection, group life assurance or private medical insurance then you’ll probably get free GP access as a value added bolt-on. The real issue is that these services us GPs which are sourced from, yes, you’ve guessed it, the NHS. Encouraging these services weakens the NHS.
