Hmmm. Well unless the $/£ exchange rate has changed dramatically since I last checked I think it’s fair to say I’m shit out of luck on this one :lou_sad:

Why are you worried about Iran?

Since the revolution of 1979, they’ve engaged in no wars of aggression. The only time they’ve been at war is when the West green-lit Iran / Iraq War.

Do you act this way with dogs?

e.g.

If we all lie long enough, loud enough and frequently enough to convince you that the Chihuahua is the most aggressive and dangerous dog on the planet, would you believe us or believe the evidence?

Only an internal war of suppression.

Got fuck all to do with you mate.

Unless you want other countries to start telling us how we should live.

So we don’t intervene with any overseas issues like human rights or genocide, you’re a tory then, even some of them are voting for an amendment, I take it you don’t support the US intervention in the Balkans ie Dayton?

The US is a force for good, what does Iran do for the World? People leave there, they don’t want to go there. Religious backwater, Iran also.

Intervene with a UN mandate to do so. That is international law. Most of the wars of the 21st century have been illegal and quite unwanted by the majority of people on the ground.

You don’t need to intervene in a country’s business if it’s not being invaded, not invading anyone and not asking for help.

You’re playing politics with goodie and baddie rules again, without ever considering the actual facts.

The UN were the goodie and were shite with their policy of only shoot if shot at, they were the facts, whilst the UN stalled the Serbs murdered, who saved lots of lives?

I know people who were there and this is true, the Brits had canvas tents that had bullets going through them at night whilst the Dutch rolled up to the Balkans in caravans, I am not joking.

So Iran did the Dayton accord?

Missed that acknowledgement in your last post…

I know you’re interested in narrowing the argument to individual policy decisions. Doesn’t really escape the point I made. International law is international law.

Implementation is a policy decision. That’s not really the issue. The issue is that not much is ever implemented by the UN because of the blocking powers of the PSC.

Since when has Iran followed international law?

They follow it whenever they like.
Just like everyone else
:innocent:

Nailed it.

Human rights?

Why the fuck would you care?

As far as I can make out, you hate everyone that doesn’t live in Cressington.
