Nooo…he’s just been with the Bin Dippers too long…he will need some serious rehabilitation but he can be cured.
I think it largely depends on how well he plays if he signs. It’s a well known fact…you should never eat a goal scorer.

I read somewhere that we have signed someone. He was at the Huddersfield game with his family and it was going to be announced this week. If true perhaps they are waiting for the outcome of the Fulham game before the unveiling. No idea who it is.

No doubt he will become the next Boufal when he is 20 but that is still 2 or 3 years away, going to a big club (like PSG) now will ruin him

Yes vastly overpriced on that showing. Could work for the right price but it would have to be at least 10m less than they’re asking.

Whether he was shite today or not, in this day and age £25m for a proven Premier League forward is not a huge amount of money.
Saints can’t expect to be the only ones who can demand exorbitant fees without having to pay more than they want at the other end.
Did we think we were being big and clever paying just £10m for Redmond? Well I’m afraid to say that we got exactly what we paid for there.
Whilst far from perfect, Walcott has more end product and an eye for goal than Long, Redmond and Tadic combined so I say go get him. And hurry. Still need another CF though. A target man perhaps.

I think the word in bold needs to be changed to the past participle. No confidence on show today, when he had the chance to run at players he didn’t. I guess he’d fit right into the current Saints side then!!
I didn’t see the Arsenal game but he hasn’t played a lot of football this season so would understandably be low on confidence and match sharpness.
I worry that foreign signings would take too long to settle. We probably got lucky with Gabbiadini hitting the ground running last season.
I think Walcott would be a decent signing. Just think the fee/wages may be a sticking point.
