To be honest, if Promes is all he promises to be they shouldn’t be baulking at the asking fee. I don’t often agree with @barry-sanchez but, sometimes, the gamble is worth taking, not all the time like!
Oh how the mighty have fallen
Yeah I agree. If we’ve decided he’s better wingster than Nathan Redman, but think €30m is a bit rich, which i surmise is probably the Facts… then I think we’re gonna have to just fkn Pay It because of our Situation + Window Closing Tomorrow.
Poor old Morgan. Another one ending up in the footballers graveyard. Whatever you think of the way our club is run, at least we dont have the Dildo Brothers to worry about.
We need a signing of this nature but I keep seeing spuds after a 20 mil winger Giroux only about 20 mil when finally done.
Bailing at a fee is also double speak for payment terms could be add one or resale percentages
Negotiation is not just about 'ave it.
We are indeed Bear, but I still dont get the moaning and bitching. We have never been a rich club and in all probability never will. We live within our means which means that we dont spend huge amounts of money on transfers and we dont pay huge wages. We rely on picking up gems, shinning them up and selling them on for a big profit. We also rely on producing our own gems. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesnt. Teams like Manchester United can take a financial hit when a player doesnt work out. Not so much us. I am sure we all remember the gnashing of teeth and wailing when we went into administration. To listen to many on Fiverweb and a couple on here you would think things were that bad again now. To point out the bleeding obvious though seems to invite accusations of being a Happy Clapper or the new one, Ofles. Managing the fans’ expectations outside of the Champions League place is a nightmare. All of the midtable clubs fans expect them to be pushing on every year yet without the resources of a Citeh or Liverhampton, how can they realistically expect that level of performance week after week, year after year? Anyone with an ounce of common sense could see that, eventually, we would have a blip. A blip for some seems to be not finishing 6th! One poster on here was happy that we didnt sign Walcott but then kicked off because we didnt take Sturridge? But you just know that if we had signed either of them we would still have shown a lack of ambition because someone esle bought someone else that we should have bought instead. Amongst some posters there seems to be a deep seated need to find fault and critise, no matter what. The Chinese get slagged for not saying anything. The moment Ralph opens his mouth to talk about club matters he gets slagged. Les Reed also. Damned if you do, damned if you dont. Most football clubs do not win anything. Most football clubs lose their best players eventually. Most Boards make mistakes. It goes with the territory so why kick off every 5 minutes on an internet forum like some petulant schoolboy when things dont go your way? Here’s a though, instead of the knee jerk reaction and the cries of they are shite, why not some well thought out constructive criticism? Having waded through tons of the usual crap on Fiverweb over the last few months, it was a pleasant surprise to find two posts recently which were devoid of the usual reactionary prepubescent rants and discussed why were are now where we are in a well thought out and written manner. It takes a bit more time and effort, but it makes for a better read than “the Board is shite and the owners are asset stripping” every five minutes. Perhaps you would like to try it Barry, and you NYS?
Dear Soggy
Stop posting sensible words on football forums.
Oh and as the Aussies say it is the DNA of you lot and especially football fans to be Whingeing Poms.
The bros on Saintsweb are anxious and fretful and moaning because they are afraid of future failures, of losing games, of going down, of drawing with Brighton. They are like chicken BWAAARK!
I would say unto them, fear not the future, because the future is imaginary. To fear the imaginary is the habit of a child. BWAARK! I would say unto them. BWAAAAAARK!
According to someone on UI Promes may be going to Everton, so I think the time is right for Baz to literally piss his pants please.
Well Peachy thinks he might not be going anywhere…
And, TBH, Promes does not strike me as a BFS type player…
_ ‘‘Fretful and Moaning in Southampton’’ _- By Hunter B. Earsy
A drug fuelled descent into paranoia and moist underpants within the dark underbelly of Saintsweb.
See? Obviously Gardos p/ex will clinch it
Or even Redmond on loan if push came to shove
I bagsy the first shove
I don’t totally understand what he has written TBH
This’ll get @barry-sanchez frothing at the mouth
Schürrle is reportedly paid £90,000 a week by Dortmund who want West Brom to pay 100% of his wage, but negotiations over what proportion of his wages West Brom have to cover are prolonging the deal.
