Under Koeman we scored a lot of headers.
Then under Puel, I can’t recall the exact statistic but we scored very few, if any. I remember the goal Davis scored against Brighton where he headed in the free kick which rebounded off of the bar, was something like the first headed goal we had managed in about 15 months?!
So yes, goals from headers have been in short supply and improvement in that area alone would do our survival hopes no harm at all. Equally useful at the other end, as per our soft goals against Spurs, Arsenal, Brighton, Huddersfield, Watford etc etc etc etc I could go on. But won’t.
