šŸŒ The Home of Happy Golf Stories

Late in the afternoon, the holes are Doughnutting where the grass presses the cup & you get a ring around that you could see it on that 17th hole.
No idea why tatters aren’t mentioning it?

This can NEVER be unseen

Fvck you rain delay
Fvck you Tyrell Hatton
I should have been in bed hours ago!
Cvnts

That’s all folks

Looks like the PGA Tour bubble burst.

  1. Ryder Cup will be delayed to 2021. Faldo dropped a gaffe Sunday night on TV.

  2. The replacement for GETINTHEHOLE Man
    Oops

Not unexpected

Means I’ll have a year longer to try and stay / get fit for Rome. More time to earn the cash to afford it though

This came up as a memory on Ryder Cup Twitter.

Just imagine, a mere mortal blagged walking just on the near side on that 1st cut of rough next to Ian Poulter on that Sunday afternoon.

It was beyond bucket list. No matter what else goes down in life.
I did that.
Still get goosebumps
Still cannot believe I did that

I’m liking Harding Park on TV for the PGA Championship
Great the way the conditions change. Big names fighting to hang in there, on a course where the rough kills you.
A good weekend of TV but prob too late for me

Members don’t want those girlies do they?

Been trolling one of my snapper mates.
He is working there & missed the money shot…
Taken by a Caddie who shared it publicly & every media outlet has used it free & is really pissed off

This weekend is the Anniversary of everyone’s favourite Golf Tournament win.
Yep The Tour Championship won by Happy Gilmour.
This year it runs Friday - Monday.
DJ is in with a sniff of oh wait sorry, a chance of winning $15m. Rory is hanging around and Ewan Murray is whispering on Sky Golf more than ever.

Just to make you all feel good.
McIlroy. 18th hole 2nd shot 200+ yards to the pin.
Hits it about 20 yards into the water from the rough.
See? Even they can do it

Here you go.
One for every hacker out there…
89ft 6in not inc depth of the lake

I’ve hit one of those 59’s!

Only one? You’re too modest. :lou_lol:

I have never liked Dustin Johnson, but his form over the past weeks has been superb& he just won $15m & Happy Gilmore’s most famous title. So well done to him.
Equally, well done again to Eastlake Golf Course, nothing special about most of the holes, but a course where you really have to hit Fairwaysandso few did.
Anext week is Greenbriar usually a good tournament but not this year with most top players taking a break before the US Open.
Also well done this weekend to another great golf course - Valderama in Spain that fried the brains of most European Tour Players with the winner shooting & finishing over par.
I’d love to play golf again, but being skint & Billy no mates here that ain’t happening for a while…
Congratulations to DJ.

The Man isn’t indestructible- sad news but he fights on.
Always thought he was a complete cock.
Then worked with him at the Desert Classic & realised he was just one of us lads living the dream. And he bought beer afterwards so makes him a Legend.

This weekend is the US Open - major time.
Winged Foot on the East Coast so watchable.
Always set up the course to try to have it won in Par. Or as we would say, stupid.
Last time at that venue, Jim Furyk won with +5!

How stupid?

Morriaka, Schauffele, Hatton, Lewis?
Sky Golf from 12:30 Thursday

Spieth’s drive at 2nd couldn’t be found. At least he got a buggy ride back to the tee. I suspect Patrick Reed was standing on the ball the whole time.
