Yes. Now let the whingeing recommence.
I have a bit of sympathy for them here - In effect they are getting punished for the same crime twice
if they broke even in Y1 and Y2 , then lost £140m in Y3 - they would breach the rules and be punished
if in the following year they broke even, they would still breach the rules because of Y3 - that seems unfair to me
Nah burn the witches, sue them for Compensation.
(Then change the rules)
Meanwhile this 777 group sounds worse than some of those rumoured buyers we found before we went into Admin
Be interesting to see when the figures come out, if Everton have breached the £35m loss limit last year and show no signs of changing their ways then I have no sympathy, if they have stopped the rot and reduced their losses/broke even/made a small profit last season then I think it would be an unfair charge.
They may be insolvent tbh
777 Partners inject additional $50m into Everton, total funding north of $180m. Prospective Everton owner 777 Partners has provided the club with a fresh loan of $50million (£40m) . The U.S. investment firm is still awaiting Premier League approval for its proposed takeover.
IF 777 fail to pass the Owners & Directors test then Everton could be totally fucked regardless of the charges,
Sure a lot of this is going into the Stadium Build but…
Everton’s accountant hard at work.
…and they said skiffle was dead.
Can we run that “fit and proper test” through VAR again?
I shall only gloat quietly, Christ only knows what our billionaire Serb has got up to in the past
Betcha they’ll say they’re very sorry, donate to Grass Roots / Women’s football and get let off.
I think the reality is Lord Slowlane, that the “fit and proper test” only consists of two questions.
“Do you have lots of money?”
“Can we have some of it?”
The End.
Jordan Henderson apparently deferred his wages £350k pw so that he could come home at Xmas and play for England without having to pay UK tax of his earnings. He hasn’t received a penny to date
And he is unlikely to get anything now he has mutually agreed to terminate the contract
Serves the greedy virtue signaling hypocritical cunt right
One thing I am an expert on -
When moving to the Middle East the FIRST task is to stay their until after the 6th April. Stay and your earnings were “subject to local tax rules” - ie none - go home you get whacked for Tax on your earnings abroad.
Then you get the only so many days rule (as I called it) Basically I could spend about 30 (or was it 60) days in the UK after that I had to pay tax.
I actually had to keep a track of the number of days and the times & dates - transit days were allowed - I remember one year I sweated when flights were cancelled due to massive snow storms and I was rebooked 10 days later. Would have got slapped - but managed to fly out from Brum.
What this goes to prove is that Jordo was even MORE thick than we were led to believe.
All this shit was obvious and simple
When my da was stationed in Germany we used to regularly go past an autobahn exit sign that had
