They’ll be paying a lot of money for Plan A.
It’ll be interesting to see if he can apply his style there. More than anything else, it’s based on being fit enough to run around pressing for 90 minutes, all season.
I think he got away with that at the smaller clubs he managed. We were in a position where we’d try anything and Spurs were in a position to nick him once he proved himself, once again knowing he wasn’t going to have a team of galacticos to manage, probably hiring him for that reason.
Some big egos at PSG. God knows why. It’s like the successful version of Wigan Athletic. Being in Paris, not Wigan, probably helped.
