It’s a little bit odd - earlier this year they said they were going to be hosting a 6 MONTH traveller football tournament there…there is something very odd going on, that’s for sure.

On the other hand weren’t we extremely good during the period after the lockdown where 5 subs were allowed? I can’t remember if we utilised the 5 subs back then, but presumably pressing teams like us who already try to find tricks to keep energy levels high towards the ends of games will find this very useful.

We’ll have none of that optimistic nonsense here. It’s clearly part of the conspiracy to increase the gulf between the elite clubs and the also-rans like us, suggesting anything else is pure heresy.
One might as well point out that it means two additional opportunities to break the play around the 65 minute mark so our players can take on energy drinks. Which, obviously, we’d never do.

I’m hoping if it comes to the 65th minute and we are leading, our trained squad of snipers will be primed and ready to do their stuff. We’ve lagged behind other clubs in this respect and it pains me we’re not leading the mid-table pack in this respect.

Personally, I’m disappointed with our fans in general. I can forgive the poor singing and atmosphere, but surely among 30000 fans we could sneak a few laser pointers in? It’s not rocket science. Well it is, but you know what I mean.
