Fuck sake, how can any fan of any club support their player when they do that sort of challenge.
Hard to defend it, but I have to say my immediate reaction on first viewing is that the keeper probably couldn’t see anything much. He was racing out of dark shade with the sun in his eyes, the hacking occured right on the line between pitch darkness and very bright sunlight. That said, he should have known better than to go for a ball he couldn’t see properly.
