I’ve been eating a lot of soup for lunch and have now settled on what is the nicest tinned soup I have found. It is a Morrisons healthy eating Tomato and Bean soup. It’s lovely and a bargain at 45p.

Fine choice, thick crusted bread and butter, beautiful.
The best thing about the canteen at work is the homemade soup. The other day, I had a fantastic bowl of chorizo and bean soup.
A sign of the times or a perfect example of the British embracing new tastes and flavours?

Liking a recipe and food from afar has little to do with the United Kingdom deciding to leave the EU.
Of couse it is…I’ll always remember my first bowl of Stilton and Broccoli…we were happily esconsed as a member of the wider European Community…ah those were the days.

A close friend of mine is Estonian and he made me soup and it was cabbage and basically salt, fucking grim and I told him what is this shite, we went down the pub after and drank ale and all was good.

I’ve seen a few places serving Cream of Hate recently as well, with a buttered roll - white.
Often with a little knob of butter.
