I’ve only seen one of these in real life. It was when I worked as a casual in the docks in the late '90s, it was a fresh personal import awaiting collection; needed restoration. It wasn’t locked, and it wouldn’t start so I couldn’t nick it. ![]()
The last time I visited Partridge BMW in Eastleigh, there was a beautiful red M1 on display in the foyer. I think it may have been a semi-permanent fixture there. Absolutely stunning car close up.
