There is no chance JWP will be an ericksen type player. We are being linked with Sigurdson from Swansea and he’s that type of player. But we also still have to see the best from Boufal.

It would seem the dates quoted in this transcript make the news somewhat suspect.
I hope you are wrong with JWP as I would be surprised but very pleased if we signed Sigurdson. I think it would be a change in our transfer strategy of signing youth but saying that I think some solid experience with a goal threat in the center could be what we are looking for
When I was drive in just now, Alan Brazil on Talksport mentioned that “Southampton takeover has been blocked by Prem League bosses cos of bribery charges”.
I didn’t get any more detail on this story tho, cos they had more important things to discuss, like Joey Barton’s hair, and what Mourinho thinks about Phil fkn Jones.
Sky are reporting that there is due to be a meeting between Lander and the Premier League today.
I can only imagine that any objection the Premier League has relates to it being a good deal for saints and therefore represents a threat to the status quo clubs and their monopoly. Or maybe I am just bitter.

I have since read the current bun on this, turns out the Lander bros was dolling out bribes in china, and ppl ended up getting executed 
. I don’t think it’s the bribes that is so much the problem, I think Prem League are more concern about the prospect of respected english managers like i.e. Harry Redknapp & Sam Allarface getting Execute. For my part, I am OK with it

Just to add soz, the artice was v.strong on saying that we’ll have Investment within 2 weeks, but Lander is NOT preferred bidder. They say we want investment not so much to try and do a Man City or buy i.e. Messi, but so we can bump up salaries and what-not to try and keep best players for Bit Longer.
