You can’t trust Gordon Ramsey. He’s very good at shouting at people, but most of the places he visited on Kitchen Nightmares have closed down.

We should pay him to go to other clubs and break all the staff and players. As men.

Went to his restaurant by St Paul’s the other week.

Food was really good but decor was dreadful all tiles and wood - terrible acoustics

Identikit waitress recruitment policy, seemingly based on youth and level of fitness (not the running sort)

I’m not sure you can blame Ramsey for the restaurant failures. The one thing he doesn’t change are the owners - the very people who fucked them up in the first place. How long do you reckon it takes before they fall into their bad habits again

Before they’ve finished filming?

You’re right. It’s about the owners’ attitudes and the businesses were fucked up in the first place, otherwise they wouldn’t be putting themselves through the grinder.

A lot of them have blamed Ramsay for their failure and I think a few have tried to sue him. There have even been contestants that have committed suicide not long after filming.

His programmes are popular because they’re a power fantasy for anyone dealing with bollocks at work. Imagine going in and telling everyone precisely what was wrong and doing it in such a satisfying way.

I think my issue with it is that it probably punches low. We’re not talking big corporations here. We’re talking deluded fuckers with too much money that have decided to bung some of it into a restaurant. For all his critics, Jamie Oliver has actually been braver.

That all said, I would like to see Gordon Ramsay doing his own version of The Cook Report. With Ross Kemp and Danny Dyer for backup if it gets “tasty”.
