I am not sure how I feel about the take-over, erm, partnership. When this was first mooted I was dead against it. I didnt like the idea of the Liebherr legacy being sold off to some off shore speculators. I then went through a period where I thought it would be ok to get some investment in just as long as Kat kept a controlling interest. Now I am just confused. Who pays north of £200m for 80% of a club for a “partnership?” As of today, if I were the Gao’s, I would want to run things my way. Wouldnt you be tempted to call Les into your office and say “this Virgil bloke, he is going nowhere, right?” Also, probably good from our perspective that he has put his own money into buying the club, but will he put his own money into paying wages or players? What is more likely to make the Gao’s spend any of their own cash on the club than Kat? We will find out in time of course, but for now we can only trust that Nelly hasnt been playing Kat and that their intentions are just as honourable of the Liebherrs.
Wouldnt it be nice though, to have at least ONE summer when nothing happens at SFC?

Not for me, I’ve never been one to sing at football, I go to support me team and get het up by the referee and the opposition antcs. Do people sing less at modern football, probably but I’m sure that that is such a huge problem.
Fair dos there have been some games where it’s been deathly silence but the fare on offer hasn’t really inspired a huge reaction. There have been matches, in recent times, where the atmosphere has been cracking.
