Close from Ward-Prowse!! Boufal wins a free-kick just outside the Hull penalty box having been tripped by Snodgrass and Ward-Prowse goes for goal. Marshall looks worried as he scrambles across his goal but the ball is always curving away from goal and goes wide of the left-hand post.
Super save from Marshall!! Huddlestone gives the ball away cheaply in midfield and Boufal breaks towards the Hull penalty box before rolling the ball inside to Austin. The striker ignores Davis who’s in acres of space outside him and goes for goal but Marshall gets down well to his right to block the shot.
Boufal looks to slip the ball into the path of Austin inside the area, but the striker just overruns the ball and Elmohamady can clear the danger. Things just not quite happening for Southampton now.
Two goals in 125 seconds for the Tigers have done the business. Saints boss Claude Puel is far from happy. 125 - There were 125 seconds between Hull’s two goals v Southampton. Turnaround. — OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) Sun Nov 06 15:41:57 +0000 2016
GOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!! HULL TAKE THE LEAD!!! Hull have turned this game on its head in the space of two minutes. Snodgrass this time the provider as he whips in a delightful ball from a deep free-kick on the right, and Dawson rises highest to head Hull City into the lead.
HUGE CHANCE FOR MAGUIRE!! Fonte is penalised for climbing on Mbokani 35 yards out from goal, and Snodgrass puts a superb ball towards Maguire at the back post, but the centre-back volleys the ball across goal from just two yards out.
GOOOAAAALLLLL!!! SNODGRASS BRINGS HULL LEVEL!! Mason and Clucas work the ball well from a throw in on the left hand side before the latter pulls the cross towards the penalty spot, where Snodgrass is waiting to drill the ball into the corner.
The Southampton players are furoius with referee Graham Scott as he fails to bring back play for a foul on Bertrand in a dangerous area 25 yards out from goal. The referee signalled that he was playing advantage but decided to waive play on despite Southampton losing the ball almost immediately.
Redmond skips past Snodgrass with ease on the left and plays a low cross in towards Austin at the near post. The striker lays the ball off towards Bertrand on the corner of the box but the ball just bobbles up as he goes to hit it and he fluffs the effort horribly.
OFF THE BAR!!! Davis puts in another superb delivery, this time from a corner, Van Dijk gets his head to the ball before Marshall can get to it, but the centre-back’s header looks up and bounces off the top of the bar and out for a goal-kick.
Southampton have started the second half the same way they finished the first here, and Hull get lucky as they fail to clear a low Tadic corner and the ball just evades several Southampton players and runs out at the far side of the box.
Wonderful save from Marshall!! Davis whips in a superb free-kick from the left-hand side after a foul on Austin by Maguire. Van Djik is penalised for a push as he gets up highest to head the ball towards goal, but Marshall wasn’t to know the referee was going to award a free-kick and pulls off a wonderful save at close range.
Hull have been forced into two changes in the first half due to injuries to both their strikers, Hernandez and Keane, but Robert Snodgrass’s introduction sparked them into life for the final 15 minutes of the half, and Mike Phelan will be keen for the winger to get on the ball as much as possible in the second period in order for his side to get back into this game.
