I think our fans would settle for a few wins and points on the board, not suffering embarrassment and humiliation every week, boring or not. Personally I disagree with the view that potential managers would be put off by the dire straits Saints are in, the opposite may well be the case. Let’s face it, it could be seen as a win win situation, the vast majority of supporters and pundits have already accepted that we are as good as already relegated, so nothing to lose. Any manager coming in at this stage, sorting out the team and putting together a few wins, even miraculously avoiding the drop which is certainly not impossible, there’s five months to go yet, would achieve legendary status amongst the Saints faithful. It’s got to be an attractive challenge to some experienced manager out there with a reputation for kicking arse and whipping players into shape and installing discipline.
You may say I’m a dreamer …!
So you’re saying Southgate then
Did I mention Southgate? That was you.
My bad - not got glasses.
You said kicking arses.
Obviously I read that as licking = Southgate
So there are 3 names in the frame according to Alfie at the Echo but it’s paywalled and …
One is the ex Denmark Manager or something
It is being reported elsewhere that Southampton have a long-standing interest in former Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand. He was on our list of potential candidates this morning.
Yesterdsy Danny Rohl was too complicated due to contract situation and compensation, so a bunch of overseas unemployed coaches got mentioned.
This morning, Saints are still talking to Danny Rohl.
Gotta hate social media
Anyway
He can come but bring Shea Charles back build around him & Flynn as a double pivot
Link please
Pereira confirmed as Wolves coach - that could be a good shout for them
I think JTaylorITK has been on the loopy juice, or maybe ITK means “Is Totally Knowledgeless”
He’s been totally pwned last few weeks 'tis amusing.
He’s a total dick but this one was funneh
Just watched some show on iPlayer. Charlie Austin was asked who he recommended for us. Rohl was one name he supported but he also suggested Mark Robins, of Coventry recent history.
Good for next season at least?
That would be Kevin Keegan levels of WTAF

From whatsapp group
Just asked my Forest friend about the interim manager and got this back as he was their set piece coach
Don’t be too excited
We were 91st out of 92 teams in the country on defending set pieces last season when he was here
He got sacked, a new bloke came in
We’re now 3rd out of 92
Strangely everyone seems to have ruled themselves out this dvening
