The '60s Guitar Greats

Late 70s not 60s but excellent “guitar” band

As this has become a bit of a guitar thread rather than purely 60’s. I’ll stick this up and see if anyone has heard it before.

Opening track off the album but still a great bit of guitar music

Saw this guy back in '92 at Brixton Acadamy when he supported Joe Satriani on The Extremist tour.

I’ve put this short piece up before because it illustrated what a natural Peter Green was. Just a fill-in, (while Danny changed a broken string) shade, light, restraint, attack…technique. What more could you want…genuine genius.

Oh yeah…and a great blues voice.

This guy from Holland keeps digging and keeps finding. This is FM from a gig in Helsinki 1968 and of course the master…the sound isn’t hi-fi but this was probably recorded on a portable reel to reel underneath somebodys coat.

Nothing can disguise a genius at work…

Nice work mate

Just spotted this thread but Jimi Hendrix  Not just the 60’s but the most gifted of all time?
