Arse win 0-2

Spurs score the worst keeper howler since a Saints Keeper to be 1-0 up v Villareal

Spuds get a very fortunate early goal by own goal. Lead 1-0 at HT

Decent game, tbf.

And Spuds grind out a 1-0 win, tried very hard to throw away in the second half

Watched Dortmund go 4-2 up at Juve last night and then turned over to watch Brentford /Villa penalty shoot out.

Only just found out that Juve scored twice in injury time for a 4-4. :person_facepalming:

Liverpool did the same didn’t they, sort of, went 2-0 up in quick time, then Athleti got it back to 2-2, then van Dijk scored the winner in the 92nd minute.

That’s the 5th game on the trot that Liverpool have scored the winner in the last 10 minutes

Edit - I realised what I was trying to say now

I’ve just re-read this and I have no idea what I was trying to type. Blame the copious amounts of beer whilst playing the other pub team in the Poole pool league last night

Welcome to my world

VAR ruins another game. :lou_facepalm_2:
Haaland asks for a red card and the ref dutifully obliges despite the defender getting a touch on the ball.

I’m not sure he did get a touch. However, he was on course to play the ball when Haalands intervention prevented him from touching it by blocking the defenders leg.

Don’t think he did.

Actually…

Oof

Twaaaaat, eat my goal…

He simply reached to play the ball…it’s what he’s paid to do. If you and VAR say it was unfair of him to do so, we’re in trouble. I still think from the replay he got a slight touch, Haaland fell over his outstretched leg.
It wasn’t given by the ref, the forensic detail we go though to see if he touched the ball ignores the real footballing question, was it an unfair challenge?

I still say that nobody can dispute that he tried to play the ball and was prevented from doing so by Haaland making contact with him. It’s like someone in the box grabbing a defender’s arm and pushing it into the flight of the ball, then claiming a penalty for handball.
