Not great Bazza. But you are stating the obvious. We have lost some shit games against poor opposition I’ll grant you.
But like I said, it’s fine margins. If you have 2 or 3 players who have crap games, a few injuries and some woeful shooting then it’s going to be a struggle.
It’s all there, it just hasn’t come together consistently enough.
I would be putting Davis, Redmond, Tadic, Hojbjerg and JWP through some serious shooting drills. None of them have been good enough in front of goal.
Tadic needs dropping for Boufal.

Reason why Tadic & Redmond were pretty pants today is they had nobody inside for support. Long was trying to run off the shoulder and none of the midfield 3 were really pushing up to fill in. Our central players are solid defensively but not much going forward. Boufal was excellent when he came on because he got on the ball in the middle and caused them problems which is exactly what we should’ve had Tadic doing from the start of the game.
Hopefully we’ll see Gabbi/Redmond out wide with Tadic/Boufal in the middle to give us a bit of firepower going forward. 3 in the middle is fine if we’re expected to be under the kosh but in games like this we need to take the initiative and go with a more attacking lineup.

Well, Baz, it’s not good, but fortunately there’s a handful of teams below us whose current form – results-wise at least – is equally as poor.
