Some players are decided on by the recruitment team but it’s clear that our managers also have a big say in transfer dealings too. Less so with sales possibly but we’ve had our hand forced with a lot of them e.g. Fonte going all billy big bollocks.

Quite enjoyed the second half despite fucking losing again.
Boufal is a million times the player Tadic will ever be. Needs to cut out the diving though.
Too many shit minutes from Bertrand, Redmond, Davis and Tadic. Davis looked much better in the second half but, along with Redmond, can’t shoot for shit.
Romeu was his usual excellent self.
Fine margins and we probably deserved a draw.
Swansea are much better under Clement. Thought Cork had a good game and I like Llorente. Sigurddson is class.

Disappointing to lose but I take great heart from our second half performance. Not so sure that Stephens is capable of stepping in for any length of time at the moment, particularly if partnered by Yoshida. When Boufal is playing every game we’ll make more chances and score more of them as well.
If we can sign a CB and Marco Gabbiadini, then I’ll be very happy.
