⚽ :pl: SuperBru - Premier League Predictor

Pretty please…

Were your fingers crossed?

It doesn’t count if your fingers are crossed.

he has webbed fingers he cant cross them

It’s the exception that proves the rule…forever in my shadow Bobsy and you know it. :lou_lol:

Not crossed? Sounds like Cedric again…

I may just have had the worst weekend ever…

Could have won FPL if I had noticed the scousers were not playing.

Ah well, fuck it, my glorious prediction of Saintd beating Villa 3-1 seems to be the only thing I predicted near right for this weekend…

So congrats to @Saint-or-sinner who scored a massive 12.5 point this weekend to give himself the yellow cap, well done mate, well done indeed. And here are his predictions :-

Honourable mention goes to @lifeintheslowlane who was only 1 result behind @Saint-or-sinner.

Wooden spoon this week goes to @Polski_Filip who must have taken his eye off of the ball slightly. Never mind eh.

What’s that, no mention for @saintbletch this week, honourable or otherwise, that’s because he was distinctly average…

Thanks.
If i’m honest, i done all the Christmas fixtures at work the other day and just chucked in any number below 4.
I’ll try the same technique with the bookies next weekend(or whenever we play).
That said, i did a 14 fold yesterday and 12 came in(would’ve returned 36k). I got fuck all for that, so my imaginary cap is appreciated

Cvnts

More fake news.

You are the Laura Kuenssberg of football prediction.

I don’t know what average you are using, but with 6 competitors scoring a total of 50.5 points, the average score would be roughly 8.42.

I scored 9.

This is approximately 107% of the average score.

With 6 competitors and no other competitor scoring 9, my score also did not represent the mode average.

The median value, found by the average of the two middlemost scores, is 8.25, so my score was not the median score.

My lawyers tell me it will be a long and messy civil case so have advised me to accept a public apology and acknowledgement that @saintbletch’s performance was distinctly above average.

Get ready for the @saintbletch strop as he is this round’s winner of the cuillère en bois, well done that man, well done indeed :clap::clap:

This round’s winner of the Chapeau jeune is @PhilippineSaint who seems to be rather good at this prediction thing.

I think they may be because I went for a Saints win and got close. whereas none of you others gave us a chance

Apologies to fans of the SuperBru thread but we are experiencing “Bletch didn’t come last so @BTripz can’t be arsed to update it” difficulties.

Coming to get you @BTripz!

I was just about to do it, so there…

So, round 20 sees @saintbletch not coming last, first or being distinctly averagem in fact he did quite well.

This week we have 2 Yello Cap winners in @Goatboy and @Saint-or-sinner whilst @PhilippineSaint continues his consistantly inconsistant form by winning the Wooden spoon.

Overall leaderboard has @Goatboy move to the top of the board, what a way to celebrate turning 50. @saintbletch is not quite bottom of the league but he’s not far off…

Sure you were, Bob. Sure you were.

It’s not even fake news. If you don’t like the news you just don’t report it.

Silence.

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before, but you are the Laura Kuenssberg of prediction.

Well it’s a familiar outcome.

Here’s the news THEY don’t want you to hear.

Big Wooden-Spooned Bob has decided that you don’t need an update on this.

Guess why?

That’s right. Bletch did above average again (he actually scored the median and mode result too).

You won’t get to see league tables this week, I’m sure, because it represents the uncomfortable truth that during the last round Bletch overtook Big Wooden-Spooned Bob in the league table.

Big Wooden-Spooned Bob is now second bottom.

And why do I continue to refer to Big Wooden-Spooned Bob as Big Wooden-Spooned Bob?

Well, it’s because @BTripz was awarded the wooden spoon in this round - scoring just 4 points.

In a controlled experiment in Chile a Labrador was found to be able to score 4.5 ‘on average’.

But none of this will be confirmed by Big Wooden-Spooned Bob because he is the Laura Kuenssberg of football prediction.

Ah wind your neck in you flower bloused beer lightweight.

The league has only updated overnight and some of us have to work for our living so were going to wait until lunchtime to do the update :fu:

OK Laura.

Does that mean I am blowing the forum’s leader off :man_shrugging:
