So, phew that was a close one wasn’t it, I prevailed purely on the reason that I got 8 results correct and got 2 slam point compared to @lifeintheslowlane 7 correct results and 1 slam point.
So I get the

Head to head saw me pitted against @Saint-or-sinner and we came out with an honourable draw, @lifeintheslowlane and @PhilippineSaint got the golden tickets!!

A win tomorrow for Saints (home to Sheffield United) coupled with both Sheffield United (away to Saints) and Aston Villa (away to West Ham)losing would see Saints achieve another final day miracle.

Round 38 and final table
So the final round of this virtual competition saw @PhilippineSaint clearly win the with a stunning 15 points from 6 correct predictions, with myself picking up the with some pretty appalling predicting…
Going into this round I was 5 points clear of @Saint-or-sinner but his mediocre 7 correct predictions saw him beat me by 5.5 points, this means that he, therefore, wins the league by .5 point, the margin could have been so much bigger if he hadn’t had a couple of round of no predicting and his insistence on Saints winning every match!!
Unfortunately @PhilippineSaint failed to finish below @Polski_Filip, unlucky that man.
Head to head saw me draw with @Polski_Filip and @Saint-or-sinner hand @saintbletch his arse on a platter, still I won the head to head league by 4 points…
