Lady Slowlane and I have picked up on Apple TV’s “The Morning Show” and are really enjoying it.

Getting towards the end of Season 1 of 3. It started screening in 2019 and is well cast with Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup.

The story is how they intend to keep their blue ribbon show on track after a fallout with their previous morning show co-host, the popular but Me-Too-scandal-ridden Mitch Kessler. Feisty journalist, southern girl Bradley Jackson, (Reese Witherspoon) brought in as the new co-host to Jenifer Aniston’s Alex. Very good so far…

Anyone else watching?

Nope. HTH

Mrs CS has been rearranging the various subscription channels.

Seems we’ve got Now TV so have started on GoT

Have only read the books and am 7 episodes in to S1.

It seems to be sticking to what I remember from the books.

A surprisingly large amount of bare naked ladies doing jiggly things and bit of gentlemanly shenanigans. Probably aimed at the intended audience to show the what naked ladies actually look like (& men, but have only counted one Willy to date)…:

A week away & 4 days of early nights
And somehow i have 9 hours of catchup TV to plod through.

Ahsoka, Invasion, Lower Decks all up to scratch
The Continental improves, Mel Gibson plays a cvnt perfectly.

Only show flagging a bit is The Wheel of Time, seems to be stuck in a rut after a bright S2 start

Early GoT
Naked Emilia Clarke and…

Sigh…

Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas begins on 20th October

Mrs P_F will be gone from civilisation until 26th December like many other wives…

Welcome to Wrexham S2.
Opens with the 2 idiots debating who goes first
So Ryan does and simply says.
And then The King of England called…

And they are back

Only Murders in the Building S3.

This is comfort food. If i have a complaint it dropped 10 weeks too early, it should be watched curled up on the sofa in front of a log fire sipping hot cocoa.
S3 wasn’t the snappiest, it flagged a little in the middle but it all came together in a finale of smiling nods and Meryl Streep.

It may just last longer than Disney does in the streaming game

Very enjoyable stuff, highlights were Steve Martin drifting off to the white room, and the song that sent him there :lou_smiley:

Not as good as the first 2 seasons IMHO

It had some bigger moments but overall agree, still lovable though and I hate that I know what a Patter Song is

The Continental wins the award for the best use of The Who’s Won’t be fooled again since CSI Miami

Apparently, the Saville thing is a comedy compared to this based on the actual Sue Gray report of what went on in #10
Not found it yet on streaming but…

It’s on Channel 4 catch up

Watched it on Friday - I swore a lot

Bastard Government :rage:

We’ve had Now TV since ditching Virgin Media in March. It’s worked seamlessly since getting it, no issues at all.

Weirdly sine I posted it’s been working fine. Go figure :man_shrugging:

Glitch in the matrix?

Welcome (back to) Wrexham
Season 2
We know how it ends.
What is a surprise is the depth that the show goes into.
Mental Health awareness, Family Heath drama, it doesn’t hold back and for that it should be commended even if it detracts from a “Football Documentary”

It’s a great show - I’d put it just ahead of the Beckham Documentary, and having seen Netflix crews at work in Rome - damn they cover some miles for these shows

Welcome to Wrexham S2 ep10

Wow. That was heavy and educational, very little to do with their march to promotion all about the Gresford Mining Disaster which was a story i did not know.
:sleepy:

The Suicide Squad - DC comedy caper

It was OK with a couple of laugh out loud moments- but it’s nagging me I’ve seen a film on similar premise - crims pulled out of chokey to do a mission - put me out of my misery please…
