Hmm.
Modern life.
Is watching an ITV show on a dodgy stream actually watching ITV?
And SRSLY? You NEVER watched Inspector Morse?

Found Ep2 of Sometimes when we touch - The Rise Fall & Renaissance of Soft Rock on a back up site.
The annoyance again is that it only plays snippets but it deals with the rise of Punk & how disparaging the media became & how downright uncool soft rock was (at that time)
So many icons & talking heads make it fascinating but for me the story of Rupert Holmes was an eye opener.
No for the love of God don’t google him. Christ, if you even remember his name your day is ruined.
But helluva a story

Too late isn’t it.

Ep3.
So Hip Hop is responsible for the resurgence of 80’s Soft Rock
Fascinating

Oh and apparently a couple of early idiot You Tubers helped back in the noughties

Bad Sisters. Irish, dark comedy. Apple TV (but some free trials available).

A group of 5 sisters. One is married to a total shit bag. The other 4, all of whom have good reason to hate the guy, plot to kill him.

Funny, dark, engaging and some good plot twists right until the end.

There were so many ā€œOMGā€ that is how you do a finale posts at the end of S3 and similar MSM headlines so I’ve dived in, and the first episode of S1 - 80% of it I was thinking why/
I’m in the middle of S1 Ep3 It is way above ā€œIt’s not shitā€

IDIOT!
Totally hooked, proper old school BBC but a totally different level to the Bergerac days

If anyone needs cheering up (probs 100% of members), there is a good programme on Sky with Al Murray and Antione De Caunes discussing the virtues of UK vs French history :lou_smiley:

He may have been cancelled.
But Clarkson’s Farm S2 is on Prime
And besides being the bumbling oaf he absolutely roasts Boris & Gove & the Tory Agricultural policy.
Funny stupid.
Love it

Started on it last night. Diverting and chucklesome

Clarkson may be a cancelled non, but in 5 episodes of S2 of his show, he has done more for British Farmers to highlight the insanity of Tory politics & nimbys and the horrors they now face.
Brilliant show.
Shows the insanity of the UK at the moment

Yep agree

Just finished it.

The local council are absolute basket cases. Clearly a personal vendetta.

One for @Polski_Filip…new Netflix Docuseries ā€œFull Swingā€ in the fashion of ā€œF1 - Drive to Surviveā€

Not seen any of it yet but could be worth a watch.

Just finished Clarksons’ Farm - brilliant from Jezza flying the flag for British Farmers in a way nobody else has ever come close to.
Just need her to go to bed so I can watch.
Bollocks
Just issed her off by starting it and boom there I was on TV in the Titles!
