Not Netflix but just watched “Grevsie” on BT Sport.

Was an interesting watch, but I’d forgotten the waterlogged ploughed fields that games were played on, not to mention the medicine-balls they used to hoof around the pitch…

Now watching Stop The Tour - about apartheid in SA. Blimey BT has other stuff than just footie and the lesser sports. Who’d have thunk it

If you suffer from insomnia then I recommend Current Wars.
Superb cinematography.
Awesome cast
And a major historical moment.
Turned by a director into a steaming pile of :lou_facepalm_2:
I still have no idea who “won”

At least Benedict Cumberbatch has improved his American accent from Dr Strange.
Null pwointe

Shall give that a big swerve then @Polski_Filip :+1::+1:

I’m not sure either of the protagonists “lost”
I had to work out for myself as the Director so confiscated the story that the fight became

Westinghouse v General Electric…

Will it never end?

BBC News - Tiger King: New ad demands answers about Carole Baskin’s missing ex

Btw, it was so obvious as a Netflix must watch, nobody mentioned it.

Wait, WHAT?
You sayin’ Cobra Kai is NOT some cheap rip off sequel to The Karate Kid?
Whoa.
It’s the ORIGINAL Cast?
It’s actually.

Really good. It has the depth from the original, it has a context and has some cracking jokes already.
30 minute episodes to enjoy with the other half.
And if you’re the only person who’s never seen the original, that’s on Netflix as well.

“And change that ringtone, get some Guns n Rose’s or something”
“What’s a Guns n Rose’s?”

Misfits - on Netflix

A group of Inner-city London young offenders get superpowers - unusual superpowers.

Funny take on the usual cape shit.

We were big fans of that back in the day. Nathan is fucking hilarious. Just a shame the actor decided to quit the show and then just keep playing a different version of Nathan i other stuff.

Don’t sweat it. It’s a bit of a Skins approach to super-powers. The episode with the bloke that can control dairy products is my fave.

Didn’t realise he was in the Umbrella Academy.

It was bugging me that the Simon Bellamy character looked really really familiar - turns out he’s Iwan Rheon who played Mick Marrs in The Dirt the Motley Crüe biopic - did a turn in GoT as well.

Just finished AWAY, thought it was great, it was slow but if you like slow stuff I recommend.

Different scenario but Another Life is not dissimilar
Around the bigger story it has very similar “traumas of long term space flight” mental stability, not enough water, strange virus.
But also a whole world of (no spoilers) other shit going on.
Like Away, has been renewed for a 2nd season.
And being non PC for a moment you get to see Katie Sackhoff’s bum.

Just saw the “dairy” episode

Nathan’s description of doing a “triple” - puking, cumming and shitting himself at the same time made me spit beer

Evil little fucker, isn’t he?

I have mentioned The Umbrella Academy.
There is no doubt S1 is incredibly tough to get through at least the 1st 5 or more episodes.
After that it has moments that are OK, some actually good.
S2 starts differently, easier to get into but again it does meander. It didn’t make me binge, but made me go back when I needed a time filler.
But. Towards the end of S2 (not there yet) fuck me it was superb.
Without spoilers, the Assassination of JFK was simply insane.
Now?
It is a brilliant story and one of my favourite shows.
I would explain why but that means spoilers.
It just builds up to have EVERYTHING.
