Just booked 3D Imax tickets for myself and my daughter. It’ll be like two Christmases in a week. Hopefully she’ll be as excited as me.
Watched the new trailer (above) last week, immediately booked tickets for me and my nipper at the local cinema. Good thing is it’s on the same day as his birthday so I got a gold star from the missus for my father-son bonding!!

Great article on Kotaku analysing the approach Disney and Abrams have taken in marketing this. Some great background info too. I never knew for example, that George Lucas was originally down to direct Apocalypse Now.

It can’t be worse than the prequels, can it? I know Abrams is a bit of a hack, but he’s got help from one of the directors of the original trilogy.
