England National Cricket Selectors have named the 16-man squad for the three-match Test Series against Sri Lanka - with three new call ups to the squad.
The last time these two teams met was in 2016 where England won 2-0 on home soil. The last time England were in Sri Lanka, the series was a draw and the last time England won on Sri Lanka territory was in 2000/01. Following the recent thrilling win against India, the team will be ready for the challenge.
The Test squad will play three Tests in Galle, Kandy and Colombo. The first Test is due to start on Tuesday 6 November at the Galle International Stadium.
