I think only Chelsea can stop them this season, but I have had the feeling from the start of the season that Liverpool will win the league this season. They are together as a team and bloody good going forward. I do think if they had VVD, it would be the final,piece of the jigsaw, but they cannot have him!
As far as Liverpool go, I am over the bitterness for them and have been since Brendon left, it is football and I have many friends who are big Liverpool fans. One of my best mates up here is a Liverpool fan from Liverpool and I would be so happy for him if they won the league, as I know how he would be feeling, as a fan and I know he would be made up for me if Saints won a trophy, as long as it was not at their expense!

I would hope that the club would renege on that specific element of the agreement, but instead let him go to the highest bidder above the release clause.
We’d be meeting the spirt of the agreement, if not the letter.

One of my best friends has been getting very exciteable about Liverpool’s prospects this season, I have been quick to remind him that if they do win anything it wouldn’t have been possible without Saints
