:pl: :saintsfc: Southampton v Leicester :leicesterfc: (Live on :sky_logo: Sports)

Exactly this. It’s not even the first time we’ve been on the receiving end of such atrocious decisions. The Bednarek one against Utd which was overturned.

I’ll be shocked if tonight’s isn’t rescinded as well.

It’s a deliberate ploy, imho. They’ve decided against keeping VAR on, so they’re making a series of increasingly bizarre and indefensible decisions in order to proclaim that it’s not working and it’s being scrapped.

Possibly.

Really good point. Up against it all the way. Crazy thing is that if we’d had 11 then we’d have probably tried to attack more and got beaten.

Fuck you Leicester. Seriously, fuck you

So true. Neil Lennon called us Stoic :flushed:

Yep Vestagaard simply tipped the ball back to McCarthy, Vardy didn’t have a goal scoring chance, he was too late. Vestagaard’s follow through caught Vardy as he tripped over his foot.

Sky haven’t actually bothered showing JWP taking the penalty in their post match coverage.

You know, the opening goal. You know, half of the games goals. 50% of the games’ goals.

But show all the ‘Leicester chances’.

Cunts.

Big shout out for Mccarthy.

Vestergaard clearly denied Vardy a goal-scoring opportunity by tackling him legally.

So next time a CB heads a ball away from an incoming forward, or a keeper saves a shot, it’s denied a goal-scoring opportunity so we’ll have red cards every time an attack is stopped.

I’m old-fashioned, but I thought the defence’s job was to deny goal-scoring opportunities? If it’s a red for doing that legally, the game’s gone mad

Love this perceptive post from the Guardian comments:

This might be the wrong forum to admit to reading the Guardian. Just saying.

Bring it on.

Statistic. The ref last night had previously only reffed 9 PL games. A third of those involved Leicester, all won by Leicester. We spoiled his 100% record.

What should we be reading then?

Morning Star or Emile Zola.
