Very disappointing. No urgency until the 89th minute. We seem to have no idea how to breakdown teams that put players behind the ball. We would be fine if matches lasted 45 minutes. For the first time I am now thinking that we could be relegated.

I’d like to know why we didn’t have any urgency (or perhaps it was sudden desperation based on realisation) until added time? Why the fuck do all our attacks seem to happen at walking or jogging pace?

Fucking embarrassing. We are becoming a very soft touch and an absolute chore to watch.
Our touch, passing, intensity, aggression, bravery on the ball - all garbage in that second half. Too many passengers on the pitch. It is now very clear to me why Minamino doesn’t get a game at Liverpool. He’s poor against the ball and a bit of a wimp in the challenge. Redmond? Enough said.
Bottom line is it meant more to Brighton and that is unacceptable. We should not be losing games like that. Take a point at the very least.
Conceding two easily avoided goals like that against a team who don’t score more than one is just totally Saints.
