Tonight was always going to be an uphill task with such a depleted side, losing KWP put the tin hat on it. The quicker we can get a few of them back the better, otherwise we will struggle.

Well that was a bit shit.
We quite desperately need Vestergaard back, at both ends he is sorely missed. (Who’d have thought I’d written that 6 months ago!)
Obviously the full backs were missed as well tonight and it’s little surprise that all three of their goals came from those areas.
We could do with a “covid” outbreak to get some games postponed to get some players fit…

The youngsters didn’t let themselves down but I think the holding midfield players were protecting them and that compromised our usual flow and possession game.
We were not ‘at it’ either. Too many off nights. Legs must be getting tired.

Consistently losing possession against any team will hurt you. Arsenal have players that can hurt you and they did.
