Come on guys, don’t feed the troll
I was referring to the squad’s organs. Young, healthy, etc, and according to you absolutely fucking useless at football.
Yes, there could be some mileage in that.
How did your team Liverpool the premiership winners go against La Liga 6th placed side?
The gift that keeps on giving.
I heard from my daughter that Liverpool FC, her and your team, got knocked out of the CL last night.
I’ll say the same thing to you as I said to her.
"Fuck off. You won it last year "
Now dry those fucking tears off your full kit, wanker
Always backing the wrong horse Pap.
So we are not for sale then
Thanks for that - a very informative read. Interesting to note that, while Gao hasn’t ploughed money into the club, he hasn’t taken anything out either. As much as anything else, the comments from Toby Steele show how precarious football finances can be, even in the super-rich Premier League - and not just for Saints. Castles built on sand and all that.
Good news is Gao not going anywhere. Bazza will be pleased.
So basically everyone is for sale in the summer to provide rebuild funds
Except those “high value stars” still out on loan…obviously they’ll form the core of the new team for next season.
This is the reason why he wants rid, the VVD money hid how fucked we are, cupboards bare, no one will want to buy us and I can’t blame them, Liebherr is a rat for selling us out to a chancer.
Bazza 34 - 1 and 1/2 Punters on here.
Not so bad. Real debt is reduced and operational revenue (other than playing trading) is on the up. The loss is entirely due to player trading which will have to be addressed. I still think Gao hasn’t a pot to piss in, but at least the operational side of the Club seems to be correcting itself. Hopefully we can ship out some players in the summer, readdressing some of the income / wages ratio and make it more attractive to a purchaser who has got some money.
Equally those losses will include transfer value write downs. So eg Carrillo is now only valued at half what we paid.
So just need 9 million for him to break even
Bye bye Pierre then?
Obviously it’s too early to say for sure and there is a lot of uncertainty regarding this virus, but I can see us kicking the Carrillo and Hoedt can down the road for another year, unfortunately. Just can’t see anybody parting with hard cash for either of them.
Forster may finally be sold if Celtic can stump up the cash. But if not then he’s done well enough for somebody else to take a punt now that he’s restored his confidence.
Elyounoussi - I had high hopes for us being able to sell him but that injury derailed his progress and interest may have cooled. If the season doesn’t finish due to the virus then I doubt he will be particularly sellable.
Lemina - seems to have done okay in Turkey but they are skint. But surely we can shift him as he is at least talented, unlike the aforementioned Hoedt and Carrillo.
Kat involved. Makes me think that the rumoured Ralph US contacts may have been reactivated.
Not surprised they are waiting. The New Post Covid world may be very different.
