Think the Ocean Terminal needs some photos of it. Another fabulous building lost.
The East Stand Clock says 1.30 and the “Dimplex” kit convinces me its the final game of the 1994/95 season against Leicester. It was a 2-2 draw and Le Tiss scored. The game kicked off at 1.00pm as Leicester were already relegated and we were safe in mid-table.
I remember going to the County Ground before and after the game and being in the Pavilion about 6.00pm watching the TV as Man Utd failed to beat West Ham and so Blackburn won the league.
Such glamorous photos Intiniki!
I know Coxford_Lou - it looked rather expensive! All those furs :-/

I appear to be in the ‘Gallery’ at the bottom. Don’t remember signing my image away. But must remember to put ‘idiot who dresses up in medieval clothing’ on my CV.
I was thinking this, but Le Tiss, scored at the other end of the ground in that game, so this I find hard to believe, he did not score! He was nowhere near fit in this game, I seem to remember.
I spent a week in this place, when I was 10 after an accident at Bassett Green Middle school. I had a football kicked at my eye which opened it up and was bleeding! I remember the nurses being horrible and calling me a cry baby when putting the eye drops in as it stung like feck!
Visited this place several times when i was but a boy
For some reason i kept walking into the railing fence
I was a patient there twice - once when I was 6 and then when I was 9. I can remember such a lot about both visits. I remember that the nurses on my ward were nuns and I also remember my Dad being amazed that I cleared my dinner plate even though both eyes were bandaged.
I certainly remember the eye drops though
I had 2 operations there. When I was 6 and then 8. I woke up one on an operating table and another time not long before the operation. Don’t really remember staff but do remember being asked to keep on eye (!) on the younger patients once. Still have a visual impairment.

Got to be Bitterne Road, just after Northam Bridge. Those houses on the right are still there.
You are correct! Prefer Manor Stores to what’s there now.
No idea where or what this is.
