Southampton FC V Augsburg Friendly

COYS :lou_facepalm_2:

I just do NOT want to talk about it :slight_frown: :slight_frown: :slight_frown:

We move on to Saturday
when I have asked my friends at Ottery St Marys reserves to be prepared to face Sevilllla at Southampton
in order to make a game of it for the fans :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

OWTSGMI

Today is another day
thank goodness :scream:

Posibbly to go on the music thread

Same boss as the old boss

I’m intrigued to see who will start against Swansea at this stage. I truly have no clue who the new manager favours.

The only thing I can say with certainty is that Forster will be in nets, Yoshida, Romeu, probably Davis and the rest I’m struggling with. Oh and that Long WONT start up front.

It doesn’t help that Cedric hasn’t kicked a ball yet and Redmond and JWP haven’t been back long.

Thoughts?

As I mentioned above, @simon-says , I see Pied as a starter at the moment. Of all the players’ attitudes last night, his was clearly “this is my chance”. He and Bednarek were the only players not rotated last night. And as you say, Cedric hasn’t featured.

After that, like you, I’m struggling to be certain.

Surely Stephens has to be a starter because VvD’s head hasn’t even been recorded in front of Sky and BT Sport’s green screen and, let’s just say, Bednarek hasn’t done enough to demand a first team berth just yet.

Redmond is a starter I’d say too.

Gabbiadini I would think too.

But no real certainty to any of them at the moment.

Can I put us down as a banker to win on the opening day of the season ?

Couldn’t one of our media team do the VT stuff for Sky and BT wearing a VVD mask - maybe dressed in a pantomime horse outfit.

Its a shame we are not in the European qualifiers - I would have named the bastard on the team sheet as a starter, started the game with 10 men, and then immediately sudbbed him meaning that the tosser was cup tied from Europe for a season. I would have then sent the video to Klopp with a massive Fuck you in the header bar

apart from that though? :lou_lol:

I suggest
nooooo team/match de-brief on this Augsburg match :astonished:

Not enough time before the next game on Saturday. :slight_frown:

Be positive MP
we can play as a team against Sevilla and see the mighty Saints side rise from the ashes as we did soooo many times in the past.

But allow ME to select the side :innocent: we would probably still lose
but what such jolly times :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

It was pretty awful wasnt it? I have put off saying anything about the match so far, mainly because the wrist slitters were out in force last night on Steveweb and my first thought was to be more positive. I feel a bit for Forster. He had no protection last night. I missed the first goal but two free headers in the box and then they guy runs through without a meaningful challenge and picks his spot. Apart from a point in the second half when we seemed to get it all together, it was piss poor. MP has his work cut out, but on a more positive note, we cant be that bad again, can we?

It has now crossed my mind
after a sleepless night
 :lou_facepalm_2:

I might have to sit closer to the dugout and help Mauricccio coach this shambles :astonished:

I will decide after the Sevilla game :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Otters, if I had my way you would take the place of Eric Black as the manager’s right hand man.

I see the clappers have circled the wagon early this season, if it’s shit it shit and that was shit, why the fuck our manager or any manager can’t say that is beyond me, talking positives is for delusional fools, if its shit say it’s shit, the fans saw so why fucking say its something that it’s not?

Barrys motivation theory 101

In the changeing room after a 4-0 ass reaming

Oi Fraser, you were fucking shite - a hologram would do better.

JWP - you are shite, you were shite, you will always be shite

The rest of you were fucking shite and all.

Useless bunch of cunts

Right, Sevilla on Saturday, who’s up for it.

I blame the training methods :slight_frown:

ever since Samuel Lee departed
the blooooody cones have no idea where to stand and the players keep bumping into said blooooody cones :astonished:

I might not have the same knowledge as Sammy  but I will give it a try for the cause

Pellegrino has come out and said “the only positive thing is that it was a friendly game” so I dont know why you are kicking off Barry. There is nothing wrong in trying to find positives when things dont go right - something to build on. I think that we agree that there werent many last night but instead of tearing it all down, dont you think it makes sense to work on what we can do to make things better?

Less of the positive shit!

How often do we get to enjoy a meltdown in the first week of August?

Other than the last five years.
