Why is my link being treated in this way? Everybody else has a proper link, all I have is text in bright blue. Why am I being singled out for punishment? Is it because Iā€™m a cunt? If so, why only me?

Do me a favour and edit your post using the following instructionsā€¦

  1. locate the <video-id> (11 characters usually immediately after ?v= (Itā€™s boJR79qnNkc in your example, but letā€™s imagine it was daveisacunt)
  2. copy it to the clipboard
  3. re-write your YouTube link as https://youtube.com/embed/<video-id> - replacing <video-id> with the contents of the clipboard, or as anyone reading this would know daveisacunt.
  4. save the edit
  5. tell Bletch it either worked or didnā€™t
  6. what happened to 6?
  7. youā€™re still a cunt
