It feels like we started the process the same day this site was formed
In fact it’s only 1 year 7 months.
About 50 phone calls, 2 site visits, 4 meetings with ex boss to collect ANOTHER piece of paper and, to our shock a very pleasant lady at ZUS accepted my/our application

I hit a brick wall trying to deal with UK despite having to buy a bew phone to access the website.
She is sending all my papers through the Polish system to “deal with those UK idiots”
No pension or anything, or even any benefits. That can take 6 months to one year. FFS.
BUT being registered I now get the State paying for my “medical insurance” so it reduces cash flow burn and Ive been getting half price bus & trsin fares for a year automatically so no bus pass needed

It’s our Wedding Anniversary today.
I forgot - in my defence I knew it was on 25th, just didn’t realise today was 25th.
But, i got away with it because for 1st time in 3 years I am actually NOT in hospital 20+ miles away.

Our Kitten has grown up. Vet says she should be a year old by now.
She is a scaredy Cat, only goes into the garden wearing a lead /harness with us.
She likes to hide under the trees, watch the world, chase bugs nudge us to walk her daily perimeter security check and run indoors at any strange/loud noise.
We have a Blackbird lives in the garden it hops around taunting her, knowing when she has got her lead tangled up.
The baby chicks are just a bit more nimble.
But yesterday a dumb pigeon visited and was an ex pigeon in a micro second, with lead wrapped round a tree at full stretch
