I have this thread, it’s not very old but it’s quite unwell to the point where it has no dignity or quality of life…I think it would be best for everyone if it was put out of its misery…as cheaply as possible, use the bolt gun if you have to, or just back over it in the car park.
First time in a while I’ve felt like locking a thread. I don’t like to do these things unilaterally, and it’s certainly not a freedom of speech issue. I’m sure Barry has more in his locker than this fearmongering muck, just as I’m sure Cherts might be more sympathetic if he wasn’t running around yapping at the Bazster’s heels.
What I am noticing is a couple of duels developing that reminds me of Any Which Way You Can, smashing out of one thread and smashing through the plate glass window of another, just duking it out, virtually no dialogue.
I still find that scene very diverting. Some of ours could look like a horror show to people watching Sotonians for the first time.

I wouldnt want an arranged marriage and I would want that for my children. However, arranged marriages are not against the law and I believe that many end up happier than those not arranged given the divorce rate in the West, so who am I (or you) to say they should not happen? Now, if you had used throwing gay people off roofs, then yes, I would agree with you that shouldnt happen. Just I would agree that murder,rape etc should happen. I worked for the CPS for 8 years. Do you know what? Not once did I have to deal with a gay person being thrown off a roof by irate Muslims. Yes, very occasionally there would be a case that involved “cultural differences” between or involving Muslims, but not very often. Yet every day I would have to deal with cases committed by the indigenous population ranging from murder and rape down to assault and theft. I covered Kent. The caseloads were so high we couldnt deal with them as effectively as we should have been able to. That was just Kent. It was the same across the rest of the country. The simple fact is you are more likely to have a crime committed against you than by an indigenous person rather than a Mulsim or another immigrant. Yet you spend hours every day telling us about this supposed threat from within. The threat from within comes from anti-social individuals, not “foreign cultures.” Ok, you will quote your survey again. I think we are all aware that there are issues in some aread regarding integration but if you look at most big towns and cities, people of all different races and creeds get on with life and each other without any major problems. The real problems we face concern the anti social behaviour of certain members of our society who feel like they can live and operate outside of the social contract that most of us sign up to.
So have honour killings and FGM, but that doesn’t stop you banging on about lack of integration.
