I assume that you are relatively mature as you seem to have fathered a child. To do so I have to assume that you are old enough to be able to produce sperm. Do yourself, your child and us a favour. Go out into the world and watch how most normal people interact with each other on a daily basis. Every day people from different tribes interact in a perfectly reasonable way. Some people in different tribes and some people in the same tribes do have issues, but they are in the minority. If that wasn’t the case the world would be in a state of anarchy. It isn’t. But it also isn’t a perfect world. Also read things and watch programmes that don’t conform with the Barry Sanchez agenda. It will make you a more rounded individual and, probably, a better parent. After all, you wouldn’t want your child growing up a whopper would you?

Even the sectarianism in Northern Ireland had little to do with religion, beyond the fact it was the discriminating factor in picking a side. The real problems were structural, were about certain people not getting jobs or opportunities, or discriminated against by the authorities, exarcerbated by a Nationalist movement which had already succeeded in the South, and hundreds of years of enmity.
In short, Bazza, they didn’t spend 40 years murdering each other, and others further afield, because of a disagreement over divorce dogma.

I just find @barry-sanchez 's schtick on things a bit baffling and contradictory. Immigration is a prime example. Baz is a long time backer of reducing overall numbers, but seems to want mass interbreeding for everyone that makes it here. Most would think that just letting the people who move here get on with it, and let time do its thing.
There were loads of Eastern European kids at my girls’ Primary Schools. Very few by senior school. They were all scousers by then, just with slightly more difficult surnames in the spelling department.
We’ll all get used to it over time. No vaguely aware person would now ask how to spell Singh, Patel, Kaur, Yau, Khan, or any number of foreign imports have made common UK currency. Even if the surname is more exotic, we Brits are not freaked out by it anymore. We can deal.
Having lots of people in a school from different places is immigration not integration, two distinct things.

I think I understand what bazza wants. He wants one race which is just everything all jumbled up, no religion, one people, no traditions or customs, equality for everyone, possibly doing anyway with traditional gender definitions, sexual freedom and puel out.
But when all the kids regard themselves as locals, all speak with the same accent and all are best friends, aren’t they then integrated?

My vision it not fantasy and is not self absorbed. I dont believe that we live in a Utopia. Never has been, never will be. What I do believe is what I see and others see every single day. Yes people have agendas. You only have to spend 5 minutes on an internet forum to see that (especially reading your posts) but that does not mean that social integration isnt or hasnt worked. There are millions of people all over the world living in what most of us would call an integrated society, it is just that you prefer to ignore that. You said yourself that you didnt want to watch a particular programme because to you it was “propaganda.” You haven’t seen it and you dont know what it is about, yet you have still dimissed it anyway because you think it will be at odds with the Barry Sanchez agenda. Somehow you manage to tar everyone in a certain group (or tribe) in the same way.
