Social Integration is not happening

Conflicted here.

I feel like I should be saying something like moderatorish, “Come on Sotonians, let’s get back on topic”.

But I can’t be arsed.

We’re sticking to topic about as much as Bazza does

This is relevant Bletch. Lots of integration going on and food is a great way to bring people together, so it ticks all the boxes.

This slight change of direction was an inspired idea.

What we need is a great big melting pot.

Now I agree there, some don’t want to melt though and want plain old white bread, brown eggs and ham, mix and you have a wonderful omelette.

Beautiful and not a make believe load of shite in sight.

Just lovely.

Ham? From the swine? Filthy.

I may have mentioned this before but never mind

I was on a ship once when the refrigeration system broke down so the freezers all defrosted.

The cooks then had to cook all the meat so for days we had pork.

There was a Croat engineer who would sit down at every meal and shout loudly across the mess hall

" um I love pork I hate Muslims"

to the Serbian deck crew.

It was not a happy ship.

Concessions have to be made, it’ll be Halal pork…

Don’t blame the cheese this # Friday13th - enjoy mac and cheese & still sleep sweetly. http://on.coop/2iODGYz

Best laid plans turn to custard, or soup.

Those white Christians abusing people for reading a verse from the Koran are sickening. Deport them all now.

Alternatively, calm down and have some soup. What’s your favourite Barry?

Mulligatwny a perfect fusion as it should be.

Be nice to know what the verse was that was read out, shame the BBC didn’t feel the need to clarify that, as it would be interesting to know if the reading actually mirrored/shared traditional Christian beleifs and values. I’m guessing the people claiming offence at this have also complained about the Amazon advert.

Who would ever complain about that advert?

I was being facetious Baz. I’m saying that the people claiming offence at a passage of the Koran being read out in a christian place of worship are over reacting.

Whatever next religious people taking offence at shite shocker.

I knew I’d find something we could vaguely agree on :lou_lol: That doesn’t mean I now agree with everything you’ve ever said on here though, just to clarify that :lou_wink_2:
