How do we feel about bouillabaisse? I love it, but is it really a soup? It’s billed as such, but you could almost eat it with fork it’s that thick. Incredibly yummy, but I don’t want to take the thread off topic.

It does sound like it, i can’t deny. But it tastes superb. It has more flavour than just cheese. I was as sceptical as yourself until i tried it.

not keen on “cream of…” soups or mushroom (although love mushrooms when not in soup). I’m a man of reasonably simple tastes. I wouldn’t entertain a cold soup.
When I used to go to the snack bar at work I used to ask “What’s the soup today Doreen?”
Occasionally she would reply, “Bean Soup”
I would say, “I don’t want to know what it’s been…what is it now!”

I had one of those Campbell’s condensed soups once and thought, this is fucking salty.
Anyway, my missus says to me, you did water it down didn’t you?

I’ve never seen a Marx brothers film.
Unfortunately not. I do know it came from a Gary Rhodes book. It was called Great British classics or something very similar.
I’m getting an appetite for soup now, will have to find it myself, again.

One of the best things about the otherwise rubbish canteen where I work is the soup. Today was cauliflower and pumpkin
