I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not that IT savvy Steve, but I’ve got no fucking idea what’s going on with little red name thingies - probably because my phone is shite (it’s a widows phone & may have mentioned how shite is is before…)

If someone could explain in words of two syllables or less then that’d help.

The search will only find posters that exist. It’s based on their actual username. It’s a wildcard search on both ends, so you can type @bletch to get @saintbletch .

When the filtered list of names pops up underneath the text, click the one you want and that should be it. Aware of issues on Chrome mobile, but I’ve been on most computer browsers without issues.

Follow bletch’s instructions, and you should be grand, unless you’re on Chrome Mobile.

It’s how to edit the name I can’t seem to work out eg.

I’ll get the tag up, delete the existing name text but when I want to retype the edited text, it’s only allowing me to type outside the box … if that makes any sense at all.

So hit the @ sign and start typing his actual username.

When you select it, it’ll come up as @saintbletch .

You can put your cursor into the middle of it and start changing the @steveintheforest text.

Every time I see @ symbol, I say the word “at” in my head. It’s throwing me off. Can’t computer get rid of @ symbol once you pick name? When you lot next meet farmhouse you’ll be going like “hi at pap, would u like an at drink? Yes at beltch I will have an at white wine and an at bag of at pork scratchings at pls at at.”
